Chef Sofra

First time dining at Sofra the other weekend, very impressed by the provincial menu that had some items I had not heard of or tried as a Türk. The service was top notch, attentive, friendly staff and the food was very tasty and considering it was full house our meals were coming out well timed with no delay. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.

We loved this place! The atmosphere was lively and bustling. The turkish bread was delicious. Also really loved the veg platter and chilli dip. The milk and chocolate baklava was exquisite and the service was impeccable! 10/10 would recommend! The restaurant is very busy on Friday/weekend nights, so I’d recommend booking in advance.

We had the most delightful dinner at Chef Sofa! The food is so fresh and delicious. The menu has an impressive variety of vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean, with a funky and fresh vibe. We walked out feeling very lucky to have this in the neighbourhood and already planning to bring family and friends.

Wow what a lovely local gem. Delicious Turkish food, fantastic service, great vibe and nice fitout. This warm welcoming place has a great big selection of food to share. Great for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Everything we had was magnificent. We had the Kopoglu mancasi eggplant dip, Aciezme dip, zucchini fritters, Grilled octopus, Saganaki and desserts Sutlac, Kazandibi and Sobiyet with Turkish coffee. Just a couple of desserts 🤣 We were stuffed and so happy and satisfied. Absolutely delicious. Loved it all but my favourite was the Aciezme chilli yoghurt dip (Magnificent) and Kazandibi dessert (not sharing next time) 🤣🤣 Great for families, large groups and smaller groups. I'll definitely come back soon, really happy to have found this. Keep up the great work and having a lovely culture with your team, they were excellent. Also loved watching the kitchen operations, so clean and organised. I'm super impressed. Thank you for cooking with love🙏 ❤

I’ll start with I’m Turkish, and I KNOW my Turkish food- Chef Sofra was absolutely AMAZING! True Turkish cuisine, non greasy, full of flavours, huge selection and SO-MUCH-FOOD! We did the set menu and even with some big boys on the table, we had plenty leftovers that were packaged and sent home with us. We celebrated my husband’s 50th in the private dining room at the back last night and absolutely everyone, young and old, fell in love with Chef Sofra. The atmosphere, the quality and quantity of food, THE SERVICE! Our guests actually pointed out that they have never been so over serviced before. The staff and management were friendly and eager to please, without being in our faces. Nothing was a hassle for them. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Turkish cuisine. Thank you for taking all the stress out of hosting off my shoulders and allowing me to enjoy the celebrations, at least as much as my guests.
